Reminisce to see the fun that we’ve had at our fundraising events.
Yoga in the Park is one of our favourite events to run. Thank you to the amazing yoga teacher for offering their time to help us fundraise for the Jeevan School.

Our biggest event yet raising over $6000 for the Jeevan School.
We could not have raised such a huge amount without the love and support from artists and small businesses from all around Perth. A huge part of the event was also the participation of young students from all around Perth. And of course, a huge thank you to the students from Chrysalis Montessori School whose own fundraising efforts contributed $800 for the Jeevan School.
Thank you to ALL our sponsors & the small businesses who have donated
And a huge THANK YOU to all artists who participated – your pieces were beautiful and your support we are eternally grateful.
We brought back the good ol’ school days to raise money for teachers at SCAO. The Quiz Night (held 22nd August 2015) was about bringing teachers & students together from around the world, embracing education and putting our knowledge to the ultimate test. All while raising money that will support the income of four amazing Cambodian teachers: Sokha, Daro, Vibol & Oudom.
The event was held at St Denis School in Joondanna. We thank St Denis School for donating the school hall to hold our first Quiz Night.
We are also grateful for all the local businesses that donated to see the night a success. We are always amazed at the generosity.
We each have fears and challenges in life, conquering this teaches us life lessons. Our Charity Skydive (held 21st February 2015) was about conquering fears and building confidence to face challenges head on.
The reality is that jumping out of a plane is fairly risk free given the Australian rules and regulations that the company, Skydive the Beach and Beyond must go through. We were safer jumping out of a plane than a child under the age of 5 is living in Prey Ponor village. This reality is what drives us at SCOOP to do what we do.
The money raised will go towards the construction of the SCAO III centre in the village of Prey Ponor.
Check out SCAO’s website for updates on the construction of their newest school.
Our inaugural event was held at Annalakshmi Restaurant, overlooking the Perth River, on the 12th October 2014. The night was to celebrate the launch of SCOOP in Australia and to raise money for the construction of the Jeevan Village in Varanasi, India. Over 80 of our closest supporters – friends, family and colleagues – feasted on authentic Indian food, and tried their best to outbid each other for one of our many auction items.
We are very grateful to all the local Perth businesses who donated and supported us at our launch.
